Itinerary
Day 1: Board our transatlantic flight.

Day 2: After arrival, transfer to the hotel. Take advantage of the ski rental service, if you wish, from the local "Börse". Top quality downhill and cross country equipment is available. This afternoon, stroll through downtown Innsbruck, enjoy a latte or glass of wine and visit the medieval arcaded shops.
Day 3: Try the Axamer runs today. There are runs for all levels of downhill skiiers as well as cross country paths. The ski bus picks us up at the hotel and takes us to the mountain for an unforgettable experience. Come back to the hotel whenever you want as the transportation runs all day. Later you may want to visit the ancient HOFKIRCHE, the private church of the Hapsburg family who ruled this area from 1500 until the end of World War I.

Day 4: Today take the ski bus to the Luzum ski resort. This Olympic training ground has runs from the beginning level to the most expert level to enjoy. In the afternoon you might enjoy a visit to the HOFBURG, the palace of the Hapsburgs.

Innsbruck, Alte Stadt (Old Town)

Day 5: After breakfast in the hotel, try a new area of the Axamer today. The Winter Olympic Museum, directly downtown, would be a great place to spend the afternoon. Downtown Innsbruck is full of wonderful shops, boutiques and cafes to always enjoy.

Day 6: Back to the Luzum today or take a day off and visit SALZBURG, AUSTRIA, only 2 hours by train. This beautiful town of Mozart, music and chocolate is wonderful at any time of year, but spectacular in the winter.

Day 7: A new area of the Axamer can fill your day with great new experiences. If you want, you can take the two hour train to MUNICH, just over the border to the north. The capital of Bavaria, MUNICH is now one of the "hot spots" of Europe with world-class museums, cathedrals and restaurants.
