Itinerary Day 1: Board our jet for the overnight flight to Europe.
Day 2: A whole day in spectacular MUNICH, GERMANY, capital of Bavaria. We'll see the neogothic RATHAUS (city hall), the famous Hofbrauhaus and Beer Garten, the Michael's Church, Kaufinger Street, the 5th Avenue of Munich, and the Glockenspiel, high above Maria's Square.

This afternoon we drive to nearby Ruhpolding for a week of relaxation.
|
|
|
Day 3: A walk into the Alps above Ruhpolding to the Maria Eck, or "Mariaīs Corner". This little bit of heaven, easy to reach for any level of hiker, has a beautiful view over the entire valley and even Lake Chiemsee is visible from here. Afterwards we will enjoy the hot water springs at the near-by spa. Soak in the bubbles while staring up at the incredible Alps. If you prefer, spend the day shopping in the village. Later, itīs back to our hotel for a hearty Bavarian dinner at the Fritz am Sand Hotel, a chalet-style hotel in the mountains.

Day 4: The sights of "The Sound of Music" surround us today in SALZBURG, AUSTRIA. We take a walking tour of this famous city, visit the Salzburg Cathedral, see the house where Mozart was born and the church in which Maria von Trapp was married. Enjoy the music in the streets, the huge pretzels and the wonderful smells of chocolate and berry desserts. If you prefer, spend the day trout fishing in the Alpine stream near the hotel, or biking over to Reit im Winkel.
Day 5: A walk up the Rauschberg Mountain this morning for those who wish to participate. From the summit, where hang gliders leap, you can see forever! Later in the day we will enjoy the sparkling waters of the spa and relax before dinner at the Fritz.
Day 6: A short drive brings us to the beautiful Alpine village of Bad Reichenhall. Famous for its salt production, the town became famous in the Middle Ages. Perfect for strolling and afternoon cappacino.

Day 7: We begin with a visit to the town of TRAUNSTEIN, a gem in the Alpine foothills. Afterward we boot over to see the spectacular HERRENCHIEMSEE CASTLE.
Day 8: After an adventure filled week, we transfer to the airport for our return flight to the USA.
