Itinerary
Day 1: Board our transatlantic flight.
Day 2: After arrival, we drive across southern SCOTLAND. A stop in the medieval village of Stirling acquaints us with the Wallace Monument dedicated to the Scottish revolt against the British in the late 1200s, immortalized in the film "Braveheart".Then it´s on to EDINBURGH, capital of SCOTLAND.

Day 3: EDINBURGH We will visit the EDINBURGH CASTLE, the very foundation of the Scottish nation. Afterwards we will motor down the Royal Mile, past St. Giles Cathedral and Holyroodhouse Palace.
Day 4: Across the Scottish Uplands to the LAKE DISTRICT. Into the Cumbrian Mountains, we reach GRASMERE, home of Wordsworth, the English symbol of the Romantic Era.

Day 5: Through the YORK DALES NATIONAL PARK this morning to YORK. We will walk the medieval city wall, visit the YORK MINSTER and the ancient SHAMBLES with its tiny shops and tea houses.
Day 6: To WALES, a wild, rough country on the Irish Sea. We will visit the CONWY CASTLE, built in the 1200s to solidify England´s hold over this area. Later we stroll through the quaint and lovely village of Conwy.
Day 7: In SHAKESPEARE’S STRATFORD, we visit ANN HATHAWAY’S HOUSE and the SHAKESPEARE FAMILY HOME, wonderful examples of Renaissance England. Enjoy a cup of tea and stroll the Avon River this afternoon.
Day 8: BATH with its ROMAN RUINS and 5,000 year old STONEHENGE are today´s highlights.

Day 9: A tour of LONDON this morning takes us past the HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT, BIG BEN, ST. PAULS CATHEDRAL, WESTMINSTER ABBEY, BUCKINGHAM PALACE, the TOWER OF LONDON, THAMES RIVER and PICADILLY CIRCUS. Visit some great museums or shop Oxford Street this afternoon.
Day 10: Transfer to the airport to board our transatlantic flight back to the USA
